Tom began his legal career on the insurance defense side. That inside knowledge now gives him a strategic edge when advocating for plaintiffs. Since switching sides in 2005, he’s recovered millions in compensation for clients through settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

When not in the office, you’ll find him skiing, biking, playing music, and spending time with his wife and four sons.

Tom is fluent in Spanish and brings global experience from the U.S. Department of Commerce and a fellowship at the Latin American Center for Sustainable Development. He’s also a longtime legal educator and currently teaches Torts at Whatcom Community College.
